I N T E N T
ICURFC is a community that is filled with those who are enthusiastic and fascinated towards rugby. Despite many of the members being inexperienced with rugby till university or have several language barriers due to differences in April and September students, we still have the same motive to enjoy and love rugby as a team. Not only the players, the managers in the team provide full support to the team in order to further enhance the passion for rugby.
ラグビーというスポーツは厳しいスポーツだと捉えられがちです。しかし、そんな中でもラグビーの魅力はたくさんあります。
ラグビーは１５人スポーツであり、一つのプレーに関わる人数が多いスポーツです。その中で、チームが一丸となって同じ目標に向かって頑張っていくことで、絆や一体感が生まれます。
こういった環境の中で、ラグビーを好きになる、好きでい続ける部活を作るのが目標です。
楽しいラグビー
Contrary to the conventional style of Japanese Rugby, here at ICU, critical thinking is required. Rugby is not your ordinary team sport. Not a single player is unneeded, and victory is impossible without all 15 players. Every player can be a game changer, with or without the ball. Rugby is all about the "one for all, all for one". You cannot win alone, and that's what makes rugby unique and exhilarating.
まず部員の根本にあるのが、ラグビーがうまくなりたい！っという気持ちです。その思いがチーム全体に自主性をもたらします。
ICURFCではこういった自主性を大切にし、それぞれの目標に向かって努力することで、チーム全体のスキルアップに繋げています。ICUで大切にされてる、クリティカルシンキングで一人一人考えながら、ラグビーを楽しんでいます。
やっぱり、楽しくラグビーをするのが一番です。
Attacking Rugby
ICURFC’s main goal for this year is to achieve the theme of “attacking rugby”. Attacking rugby requires high mentality and instantaneous power that builds up on techniques to ‘attack’ defending players. The foundation of “attacking rugby” expects movements in the players structure, which has been built up within our team. Our next goal is to develop on our break down movements and attacking options.
ICURFCの今年の目標は “attacking rugby” を成功させることです。”Attacking rugby” は今まで以上に、勝ちに対するメンタリティを高めていく必要性があります。
瞬発力や、攻撃的なラグビーを武器に、相手のプレイヤーを攻撃する技術を求めています。
ブレイクダウンや攻撃オプションを統一することでアタックのテンポをコントロールすることができ、攻めて、攻めて、攻めまくります。
